Hey Beauties,
For the last month I have been trying out this new product that I found at our local Supermarket. To be honest I bought on a whim but it turns out that it is a good product.
This product is eye discs which are already saturated with eye make up remover. All one needs to do is to place an eye disc on one eye for a few seconds, until the formula melts away the make up. Then you wipe it away a few times. I use the other side for the other eye. The benefits that this product has are that the formula is natural made up of Green tea which cleanses excess oil and Biotin (Vitamin H) which helps keep lashes strong and nourished.
Another benefit is that it does not sting, does not contain alcohol, and has a very nice smell. Another thing that I noticed is that after I opened the product the discs have not dried out, have remained moist.
In terms of price, it is an inexpensive product and it contains a lot of discs which will last quite some time.
Overall I am going to stick to this product with regards to eye make up remover.
Have you tried this product or anything similar?
That is all for this post,
Until next time,

Catrice Event Haul and Review
Hey Beauties,
I know, this post has been long time coming, I am swamped with lectures, studies and work at the moment and it is only now that I found some time to blog.
As some of you may already know, last February I was invited to attend the Catrice Spring Launch and we were given some products to try out.
Face Products
The first three products are:
1) Colour Correcting Primer: I have yet to try this product out. However, as a first impression from swatching it; it has a green colour to cancel out redness, as its name implies, and it also claims that it is oil free. Which is perfect for oily, acne prone skin and also during the Summer we sweat much more, so an oil free primer is perfect for that time.
2) Translucent Powder: At LAST I found an authentic translucent powder. I cannot tell you how many times I purchase a 'translucent' powder, then I open it and I find that it is coloured powder. To all Make up companies: Translucent means transparent and not with colour. Thank you Catrice for this powder, I really like it and I use it everyday to set my foundation. It did not break me out and my skin remains matte all day.
3) Shimmering Bronzer: I used it the first time last week and I was quite impressed. To be honest, I was somewhat sceptical to try it because I thought that my face would result in being all shimmery and sparkly. However, this bronzer has very fine small shimmers that barely show up, which is perfect for me. Also, it is not that dark, it just creates a sun kissed glow which I look for.
Eye Products
Now on to the eye products:
1) Absolute Eye Colour Pallette in the colour 'F'rosen Yoghurt': I have used this pallette several times now. I almost use it every time I go out. It is perfect to create a subtle natural cranberry look and I find that these colours really complete my eyes. Shadows are pigmented and are quite long lasting. Also, it has a combination of matte and shimmery shadows in it which I rarely find in other pallettes.
2) Absolute Bright Highlighting Pallette in the colour 'Candy Warhol': I use this pallette to highlight. It is a great idea to make a pallette with highlighting combinations to match every eye look. The only downside is that the eye shadow's texture is chalky and after a while that I apply it, it is not there any more.
3) Set of Single Lashes: I have not used this yet
4) Glamour Doll Curl & Volume Mascara: I use this mascara everyday, so I tested it out quite well. It claims that, as its name implies, it curls and volumises at the same time. I have not seen that. I found that it lengthens my lashes and curls them slightly but in terms of volume it fell flat. Also, when I take out the wand from the tube, its like there is no filter at the top to take away the access mascara from the wand, so I almost always end up smearing the mascara on my lid.
Lip Products
1) Ultimate Colour Lipstick in the colour 'Red my Lips': I have not tried this out yet, however when I swatched it, the colour is very opaque and creamy. Looking forward to try it out.
2) Infinite Shine Lipgloss in the colour 'Pink Twice': I applied this lip gloss the first time exactly after the event ended, in my car :) Love this lip gloss, vibrant colour, perfect for Spring. Also, has a nice smell and is very long lasting. An additional upside to this is that it is not sticky.
3) Made to Stay Smoothing Lip Polish in the colour 'Megan Fuchsia': I also use this product almost every time I go out. It is long lasting, bright colour and its finish is like a lip tint. After most of the colour is off, your lips are still stained so no need to reapply as much.
Nail Products
Received 3 nail polishes. I only used the pink one since it is ideal for the office and everyday. The other two colours are more vibrant and one of them is glittery. From the one that I used, it lasted for almost a week, after the third/fourth day it started to chip.
Have you tried any of these products? If yes, what do you think?

Catrice PR Event
Heyy Beauties,
Last Thursday I was invited to a Catrice PR event which was held at Level 22 Portomaso. I was sooo excited when I received the invite in the mail, I could not wait for the day to arrive.
At last it did, and I headed out all fancy and groomed up for the event. To be honest, I wasn't sure exactly what to expect...
When I arrived I was greeted with a flute of champagne. The first thing that I noticed was the stand full of Catrice make-up... could not stop staring of course.
As soon as I saw camera flashes, I knew immediately that that was the 'bloggers' corner', so I went that way. I sat on a vacant seat and some new bloggers, whome I never met before, introduced themselves to me, and from then on it was make-up make-up make-up.. These ladies are: Charlene from A Cosmetic Affair, Maya from Blue Jeans and Red Lipstick, Claire from This and That and Lyndsay from Splashes of Looks. Check out their blogs and follow them :)
There were a couple of new Collections on display that have been launched recently. The first one that I noticed was Celtica Collection, which seems to me very Spring oriented with pink and coral shades.. angelic like if you may. The next one is Eve in Bloom, which I think introduced Wintry type of colours but still at the same time bright. I will definitely check these out at one of Catrice's stands.
Other makeup that was on display on all the tables are as seen below:
At the end of the event, we were all given a goodie bag (stay tuned for a haul next week). I could not wait to see what there was inside. As soon as I arrived in my car I had to check and was so happy to get some of the products which I had been eyeing all night.
Thank you Catrice for inviting me and for the products that were given.

February Favourite: Make-up look
Heyy Beauties,
Hope you are all doing great :)
I have decided that instead of listing my favourite products for the month of February, instead I share my favourite make-up look that I have been wearing almost all month. I seem to have lost my appetite to experiment with colours and I'm sticking with the same 3 eye shadows.. it's quite strange. Have you ever felt like this?
Now, on to the make-up look:
First, I start off with Catrice eye shadow in the shade 'Icylicious' from the Ice Cream Collection that came out last Summer. I use this all over the lid, and also as a highlight under my brows.
Then, apply a black Nee eye shadow in the outer corner of my lid.. lightly and not in a smoky eye motion. Just to deepen the look.
Last step I apply a transition shade, in this case Makeup Store eye shadow in the colour 'Ghetto'. This shadow has been a favourite of mine for the past year.. love it.
The only thing that I am changing is my lip colour. Sometimes I apply a bold colour, other times, like in this case, I apply a natural shade. In the below picture, I paired my eye look with a Cinecitta lipstick in the colour '74'.
What is your favourite make-up look?
Do you like experimenting with different colours?
That's all for today,

Review: Simple Spotless Skin, quick fix Cleansing Wipes
Hey Beauties,
I think I have found my holy grail cleansing wipes. I have gone through 3 packets of these already, that's how much I like them :)
Targeted to:
I think I have found my holy grail cleansing wipes. I have gone through 3 packets of these already, that's how much I like them :)
Targeted to:
- Those who may suffer from light spots,
- Those who have sensitive skin
- For those who are searching for an extra benefit, apart from the part that cleanses the face from makeup easily
- Removes approximately 90% of makeup, which is more then the majority of inexpensive makeup wipes that are available in the market
- Removes also waterproof mascara
- Dries out small pimples and spots immediately. It also prevents from more spots to be created. This takes place because of the zinc and chamomile that are contained in the ingredients.
The only thing that I did not like about these cleansing wipes is that the wipes themselves are quite small for my liking. However, I can accept this, because of all the benefits it resulted in.
They can be found in the majority of Supermarkets, if not all. I bought them for about EUR4.50.
That's all for this post,
Let me know what you think about these wipes if you have tried them,

New Year's Resolution
Hey Beauties,
I'm back :) sorry for the lack of posts lately, however I have been quite busy with exams and catching up with my family during the holidays.
During this time of year the majority of us start compiling a list of new year's resolutions, and promising ourselves that they are going to be kept in the forthcoming year, although this may not be the case in reality ;)
Personally, I try and keep them as much as possible, however mid way through the year these promises are forgotten, sometimes intentionally :/
This year I am only going to do one new year's resolution. I am not the most organised of persons and sometimes my room is like a war disaster zone haha. So, today I woke up determined to clean it up, especially the shoes section in my wardrobe, bags section and jewellery section.
Jewellery Section
I had this earings stand for over 4 years now. I decided to change it since it does not really go with the rest of the room. The one I chose is acrylic, holds not only earings but also rings and small bracelets.
The majority of them, I arranged them according to the colour, however some of them are too long and had to put them elsewhere.
Lipstick and Lipgloss section
These two drawers are full to the brim. I bought a small lipstick holder in which I put my most treasured and expensive lip products. Not only I have created more space for new ones, but also I like the fact that these lip products are on display instead of in a drawer.
Everyday Shoes Section
This is one of the worst sections. The situation was so grave that I had forgotten what flat shoes I owned :/ As soon as I organised them, I felt relieved :)
Jeans and Pants Section
As can be seen from the before picture, my trousers were quite jumbled up and again, I had forgotten what I own and end up always wearing the same things.
Bags Section
This is the last section that I organised, and I threw away almost everything. This is the section that in the coming year I need to invest most in, since I don't have many bags to choose from.
I hope that I keep my new year's resolution and wish every one a happy new year filled with happiness and success,
Until next time,
Take Care,

Lierac Product Review. Part 2.
Hey Beauties,
As a few of you may already know, a few weeks ago, together with several other Maltese Beauty Bloggers, I was invited to attend the official launch of Lierac Products here in Malta. I also attended the introductory seminar last June, after which I posted about the concept that these products are based on and the type of ingredients used in manufacturing them. If you want to know more about this please click HERE.
During the event, my guest for the night, Gail, and I were given a few products to test out a few of which I am going to review in this post.
1) Demaquillan Purete Face Wash
The first thing that I noticed about this product is the packaging. I like the fact that it has a pump so there can be better control on how much product is being used.
It has quite a musky smell which is quite unusual from the typical fragrance of other products. It does not bother me that much since it does not linger on the face after using this product.
I use this product at night mainly to take off my makeup. I have to say, it takes off every trace of makeup and leaves the skin squeaky clean. However, I feel that it is a bit harsh for my skin since it is very sensitive. Of course, I use a good moisturiser afterwards. This might not be the case for other skin types. This is the reason why I use this product only at night. I do not think that it has done anything special with regards to my acne, however the benefit is that it eliminates all the dirt off my face.
Overall opinion: I think that this is a very good product and I would recommend it to those searching for a new face wash. It is not the cheapest of products, however a little goes a long way and it will last quite some time.
2) Luminescence Serum
After using the above mentioned face wash, I apply this serum. I really like its consistency, it feels like silk on my skin whilst applying it. Although it is a serum, it does not grease up my face, my skin remains matte but feels moisturised at the same time.
Overall opinion: again I would recommend this product for those searching for a new moisturiser. I think this serum is suitable for every skin type.
3) Mesolift Serum: Radiance Booster (what my friend Gail thinks about this product)
"It felt tingly at first, but it wasn't long enough until my face started to feel more vibrant and energetic. I recommend this product for those feeling stressed and tired due to the negative effects they relinquish onto the skin. The thing I really like about this product is that it enables the face to feel revitalised and moisturised at the same time.
In terms of packaging I really liked the fact that it comes with a pipette, enabling one not to waste product and use too much. This serum contains a variety of vitamins and minerals which is what the skin needs. This results in hydrating the face and making it more healthy.
It has a citrus smell which I personally liked and did not linger on the skin for very long after I applied it.
Overall Opinion: I highly recommend this product to those who experience skin fatigue and any one aged 25 years and over since it contains 'hyaluronic acid' which helps with face elasticity and hydration, therefore it is a great to prevent wrinkles from developing. However, any person with sensitive skin should first consult with one's personal dermatologist with regards to the use of such a product. With regards to pricing, it is not the cheapest but it definitely promises satisfactory results."
